Our goal is to promote emergent literacy skills through direct coaching in early childhood classrooms; supporting professional development of early childhood educators; and promoting   literacy activities within the home .   

ELM provides the following to your child's teacher:

Coaching: On-site strategies that incorporate modeling, observing, discussion, and planning.

Professional Development: Eligible teachers and directors may enroll in the HCC A.A.S. Program in Early Childhood Management.

Strategies and Materials that are research-based and standards-driven.

Family Involvement ideas and activities that are needs-sensitive, often partnering with other community groups.
